Hugo & Treats combine future-world electronic beats with esoteric rap and spoken word. Hugo is best known for his work on the satirical current affairs show ‘Rap News’ (Juice Media) and was invited to London by Julian Assange to create an episode featuring Mr Assange himself.
Hugo & Treats’ performances range from the all out revolutionary to the deep and introspective, creating an inviting atmosphere of familiar samples woven into searingly fresh tracks from around the world. Performing across Melbourne, and at festivals such as Rainbow Serpent, and Wide Open Space, Hugo & Treats take the audience on a hallucinogenic journey of self discovery.

looking forward to this weekend! its our third year performing at rainbow, but our first gracing the playground stage with the full band. we’ll be on at 5:15pm saturday. treats will also pop up under the radar, with possible sets at umelicious, cocopocoloco, the sensorium, the dubstep cafe, the crystal mandala & the cyclic sound system!
